AQUALAB
Website modernization and go to market acceleration.
Overview
AQUALAB builds precision laboratory instruments used by food, pharma, and manufacturing companies to measure water activity, a critical factor in product safety, quality, and shelf life.
When I took ownership of AQUALAB.com, the site was technically strong but no longer supporting the way the business needed to operate or grow. My role was to evaluate the experience end to end and evolve it into a platform that could move faster, support new products, and better serve multiple buyer types.
The problem
The website ran on a custom, developer-dependent system. Despite strong performance scores, even small structural or design changes required engineering support, creating long lead times for launches and slowing iterative marketing work.
Content had also drifted over time. Pages were outdated, duplicated, or misaligned with how customers evaluated AQUALAB products. Navigation grew increasingly complex, pushing critical pages deeper into the site and reducing discoverability.
